Harvest Party

The boys went to their first ever Harvest Party this week, and had tons of fun! They bobbed for apples, played in a hay maze, and just had a good old time!

Pumpkin Patch

There was actually a pumpkin patch just about 15 minutes from us this year, but, being it's first year and all; well let's just say, they have some kinks to work out. Nonetheless, Mace, Lex, and their friends had a great time! They especially enjoyed the "haunted house."

Lumberjack Days

Okay, I am trying to play catch up again! With Mace on his fall break, and "Nadine" - for those of you in the know-taking up so much of my little free time, I am just now posting pics from last week's Lumberjack Days. This was the first time Mace participated in the parade (he walked with his school as part of their Paul Bunyan group), and it rained of course! Mace was a banana, but since he was a little nervous about being in a parade for the first time, Travis had to walk with him (does that pancake look familiar to anyone?) Of course Lex found his unique way of waiting for his big brother to come down the street: yummy cotton candy. Our neighbor friend Tori was also n the parade; riding a horse for the 4H club. Hope you enjoy!

Mace turns 5

Okay, I am, once again, behind! Thought I'd better get these pics of Mace on his actual birthday up before September ends. Since his birthday was on a Tuesday, we just had a few gifts for him to open in the morning. It also happened to be his class' first field trip to the local library for "story hour" that day. I, naturally, volunteered to help, and we had ice-cream sandwiches for Mace's birthday when we got back to his classroom. Happy birthday Mace!

Birthday Party

We held Mace's 5th Birthday last Saturday, the 13th (my actual birthday), and I am finally posting some pcs from it! Mace had a great time this year! He loved the Star Wars and Indiana Jones games we came up with, and the Transformers' Pinata was a
big hit (no pun intended). Mace totally loved his cake, and his was quiet expressive in opening all of his gifts (thanks everyone)! The funniest part was when all the kids opened their goodie bags and discovered their "Billy-Bob" teeth! Enjoy :)
