Mace had a field trip to a local donut shop today. Can it get any better than that????

Kite Flying

On a perfect spring day, the boys tried out the kites they got for Easter. Mace's friend Tori helped Lex out; and we all had lots of fun!

Birthday Bash

Today was Lex's birthday party, and keeping in tradition (meaning what we did for Mace), it was not at home, but rather at Nana's house, with just family.

Lex LOVED his cake (we ALL did), opening presents, especially the "Big, big" ones, and his new "car" (but it still wasn't quite fast enough to keep up with Mace and Nicolus on their trikes).

All in all, I'd say he had a great day, but if you asked him how his party was (which several neighbors did later in the evening) he'd say, "YUM!" Guess that just about sums it, now doesn't it!

A full day

Since Lex loves slides, I took the boys to the park today.

As you can see, the combination of gifts, the park, and getting up a little too early this morning, did him in!

Just wait until tomorrow little guy :)

Lex is 2

Lex is two today!

His birthday party is tomorrow, but he opened some gifts that came in the mail from his grandparents in both MI and CO this morning.

He really loved ripping into the paper!'

What I get

Okay, this is what I get for asking Lex to put away my comb which happens to reside in my old make-up drawer. Of course, once Mace saw what was going on, he had to get in on the action too (and on the day he registers for kindergarten).

Dandelion Wishes

Okay, you know spring is here when the dandelions start popping up. To most of us, dandelions are weeds ruining our lawn, but to these two boys, they're beautiful "flowers" made just for wishing!
